Saying farewell to January 2012 and I have so much to be thankful for. This has been such a month of change, growth and new beginnings. So today I am doing a wrap up of a month that has opened up so much more than I thought possible as I waved goodbye to 2011.
We have had solar flares, Chinese New Year, Our New Year, full moon and new moon, school holidays, rain, sunshine and social gatherings…and we are ready now to really get into the year ahead.
This month has gifted me with deeper understandings of myself and my place in this world. Each celestial event has triggered something in my sensitive soul and gifted me with another opportunity to ask my heart what I am lying to myself about, in order for me to discover more of my truth. Then to bring that to life as I am able to guide others to their true self.
The blogging challenge that I have participated in has been so incredibly amazing. The discipline to sit and write has now become a habit that I look forward to without the distractions that I would use in the past. Reading the posts of many of the others was so informative and insightful. I truly bow to each of you for staying with it, wearing your hearts on your sleeve and being committed. It was a moment of madness to say yes to it, but what I have received from the connections and the discipline has been enormous. Huge thanks to all who have taken the time to read the blogs and commented.
Some of my closest friends have been through life changing challenges and I was able to hold space for them, be of support, witness their truth transform and set them free.
My granddaughter turned one and her “welcoming ceremony” was the highlight of the month. Seeing her parents commit and make public promises about their responsibility in her growth and life was such a joyful experience and one that changes the energy around parenting within the community. We know what they want for their daughter, and what we need to do in order to support them.
My website took a whole new life on, as the fabulous Helen Barber of 2b Creative pushed me through my resistance to create something that is more in tune and aligned with who I am now and where I am travelling to. This woman was a godsend and now a fun friendship has developed, where trust and creativity are giving birth to some awesome things in the future for a broader community.
The guidance once again of Rachael Bermingham, who not only reached out a helping hand to me when things were really tough, she has beautifully helped restore my confidence. The belief she has shown me, has given me the strength and reignited my passion to stay on the good road, and to achieve what my soul’s purpose is in this life.
The solar flares had a deeply cleansing effect has they shook to the surface some remnants of things long past, to be finally laid to rest, and peace now around those things fills my heart. Many people have had the shakeup of the energy from the flares, and there will be more as the year progresses.
A joyful day with a group of powerful souls who gathered to commit to a year of self-love was shared in early Jan. Each one of us have diaries that are gorgeous reminders that we are important and we need to honour that time spent on ourselves is as important as what we offer, In fact it will allow us to give more.
A fabulous facial with the delightful Diane Graham of Koru colours, and the healing that she offered me, was so gratefully received. We all need time to heal, to allow someone to help us, rejuvenate, replenish and restore balance.
Then my friend Mickey of Amaze yourself, with her direct approach to life, her reflections of self-love, her humour and the times we sit side by side in a movie theatre not speaking, but reacting to the visuals with the same oohhhs and ahhhhs and the shielding our faces from the unpleasant bits. Her courage as she has moved through enormous life changes has inspired me to my core. Not very many people will go to the core of a health issue with such tenacity, commitment and dedication to create a completely new life as she has done.
Rain and storms added to the cleansing effect that our land as benefitted from. Sometimes these day of wet weather are gifts from nature which allow us to chill out, rest, sleep, perhaps catch up on things we need to do for ourselves, but also, to help us appreciate the sun when it rises and brings the sparkle back into life.
These last 31 days have been a powerful journey of clearing, cleaning and creating new beginnings. Looking forward to the mystery, blessings and energy of February.
Namaste
