ORACLE CARDS
The oohhs and ahhs that burst forth from people when you bring out a deck of oracle cards to play with, offer a little reading over a cuppa, or just to give some insights to another person, creates such an air of expectation, fun and excitement. As most of my friends know, if you hang out with me at some point, out come the cards, not just one deck, but an armful. Just to make sure!!
As healing tools, the ones that I have found that are akin to a complete medicine kit are the Liquid Crystal oracle deck by Justin Moikeha Asar. I use them every day as a healing tool for myself, in my healings and I sleep with them at night. As I address and work through things that come up in my life, I find the energy that they represent, the information attached to them and the uses absolutely perfect every time.
My other ‘new’ favourites are the Mayan Key Oracle deck designed by a sunshine coast artist, Heidi Woodman. Based on the Mayan glyphs and symbols, the wisdom of the ancient mayans assists in the changing times we are in right now.
The accuracy of a 3 card spread with those cards not only has the oohs and ahhs going, but the “Oh my Goodness”!! expressions and some very colourful language that erupts with the precise message that is pertinent to each person.
Anyone that has visited my healing room will note that I have more than a couple of sets of cards, in fact, I am embarrassed to actually count the number of decks that I have collected over the years.
My new favourites which I have mentioned, sit alongside my LONG standing decks that I have always reverted to when a deep heart felt message of truth is required to support my intuition. These are the Toni Carmine Salerno decks called GAIA Oracle deck , and the Angels, Gods and Goddesses deck.
If you are looking for a set that suits you, have a play with all the
different ones around, many are open in the shops for you to use and see how the message fits, how truthfully it sits with you and how it makes you feel. Once you have a relationship with a set of cards for yourself, they will speak volumes to other people that you want to ‘play with”
Oracle cards are a great tool to open conversations, offer wisdom and insights over a problem, a fun way to have a ‘therapy’ session with your friends, and a way to support your own inner world messages.
