The Teacher appears when the Soul is ready

The Teacher appears when the Soul is ready

Raelene Byrne - Medicine for Your Spirit - Monday, January 23, 2012

The teacher appears when the soul is ready. This is an upgrade of the saying, “when the student is ready the teacher appears’ which has merit but is not always the case.

Wisdom is offered to us  every day, whether we hear it or not, is up to us. The number of times I have shared some insight with a loved one, and have not been heard, however a complete stranger can enter that loved one’s life and say the exact same thing, and in a heartbeat the light bulb moment happens, they hear it. Doesn’t matter how the message is delivered, as long as it is heard and recognised.

When you think of a student at school, do they really listen to everything the teacher who is guiding and imparting knowledge, says. The same applies in general life; we all turn our listening ears off to most of the words coming from others unless it is something we want to hear.

The soul HAS to be ready to really hear and embrace a truth that resonates at our core. The delivery is most often by a person outside of the inner circle of love and trust.  Sometimes the delivery is via a movie, a song, a book, even a conversation with a person in the supermarket queue.

All of us have been through this, we have sat in conferences, workshops, seminars and heard similar things, then one day something just ‘pings’ and we get the complete message and meaning. And then we immediately want to share that revelation with all our friends and colleagues, due to our excitement of ‘getting’ an understanding of something.

Somehow, when others that we share with don’t have the same enthusiasm, or interest, we can get disheartened. What you need to ask yourself in these times, is How many times have I heard this before I finally understood the meaning?, how many times have I been gifted with this knowledge, and I haven’t heard, absorbed or even been ready to think about it?.

It is like planting a seed and not knowing what it will grow into until it is obvious and can’t be mistaken for anything else.

Our soul will remember all it has to, but at the right time. We can’t force anyone to understand something that we ourselves have taken a while to integrate into our own lives. We can only be the messengers

Epiphanies that we have are for our souls growth. As messengers we are only to pass on the information, and what the person on the receiving end does with messages is up to them.

I have seen people being told the same thing for 20 years, then one day it is said again, and finally the soul is ready for it. All sorts of wisdoms, insights, teachings are offered at various times, however each soul has to be ready for the next step in their own evolution for the message to truly anchor in.

It is easy to give up, when you feel you are repeating the same thing to a person, and they don’t seem to be getting it, I have even said to loved ones. “do you have your listening ears on?” if they can’t grasp a concept that my spirit has been revealing to me. That is because all our spirits, all our souls are learning at the exact right time that we need to. None of us know what another’s journey is, and many times what we think is ‘ground breaking’ phenomenal, inspiring information, could be absolute gooble-dee-gook to another person. Their soul is not ready to embrace the knowledge.

You will see this in workshops, some people get the information first time around, others will ask the same question that has just been answered a number times, much to the rest of the participants exasperation, however that person may not be getting the concept, as their soul just isn’t ready for that piece of information.

Everything we do in life is building on what we have previously learnt. So having compassion for a person who hasn’t understood your sharing of wisdom, is all you can do. But remember to celebrate with them, when they finally understand it, even if delivered by a different messenger. It is and should never be about, who knows the most and who is the wisest, it is ALWAYS about helping each other to stand in the best place we all can, in that moment of time. Remember the joy you experienced when you understood something, allow that person to have the same experience.

We are all students, teachers, messengers and recipients in all moments in this evolutionary life.

When the soul is ready, the teacher appears.
